MOM, PHOTOGRAPHER & BOSSBABE

HI, I'M KATRINA!

I believe in going the extra mile,
it's less crowded there.

I'm Katrina and I honestly love, love, love my job! I shot my first wedding back in July of 2010 and have since photographed over 200+ weddings. I get to work with happy couples who are in love and celebrating, all while creating art. What's not to love?! I am a perfectionist and love "the extra details". I believe that the small details create the big picture.

Most days you'll find me with a top knot "Mom" bun wearing yoga pants and a t-shirt with an iced coffee in hand. When I'm not sitting at my computer working, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters. Lennon Kate is 4 and Lakelyn is my newest baby girl. I enjoy long {romantic} strolls through Target, hitting up HomeGoods/Marshalls/TJ MAXX and binge watching my favorite shows (Jane the Virgin, The Office, LOST, Dead to Me and The HandsMaids Tale).

When you hire me you're getting more than just a wedding photographer. You're getting a wedding planner (yes I will help you create your wedding day timeline). You're getting a new girlfriend (I'm there throughout the getting ready process, I've heard it all! Might as well laugh along with you all!). You're getting a hair and makeup artist (former pageant girl here! And yes, I've stepped up when the HMA didn't show!) And lets' be real, I'm basically a professional cake/donut taste tester. I'll let you know how your wedding cake taste at the end of the night (deal?)

It matters not who you love, where you love, why you love, when you love or how you love, it matters only that you love.

my STORY:

THE REASON WHY

I do what I do

I grew up thinking that I had to take the traditional college route or else I wouldn't be successful. After graduating college, when it was time to "enter the real world" I realized that to be truly happy you have to follow your own path, even if less traveled. Photography had always been a passion of and I was determined to make a living doing what I love. 10 years later and I'm still in awe that I get to create art for a living. I've been honored to work with hundreds of couples and even mentor other aspiring photographers.
